Ingredients85g/3oz butter85g/3oz granulated sugar 85g/3oz brown sugar Few drops vanilla essence 1 egg 170g/6oz self raising flour, sifted Pinch salt 60-120g/2-4oz chocolate chips MethodGrease two baking trays.Cream the butter with the sugar and vanilla essence. Beat in the egg. Fold in the flour and salt with the chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto the baking trays and bake the cookies at 175°C, Gas Mark 4 for 12-15 minutes. Stand for 1 minute then place chocolate chip cookies on a wire rack to cool. |
